Noah Dettwiler struggled with physical problems in hot Misano on Friday afternoon.
But before, Noah Dettwiler put in a promising start to the weekend during this morning’s first practice session at the Gran Premio di San Marino. The 19-year-old Moto3™ rookie from Switzerland was able to fulfil the expectations he had set himself after a solid Aragón weekend recently.
Recording a 1’43.335, Dettwiler was just over two seconds off the best lap time, which meant 24th place at the end of the session. In the afternoon, in much hotter temperatures, his body did not cooperate when he wanted to go out for the time attack after the pit stop for the scheduled tyre change.

«We had a good start this morning, where we tried two or three things on the setup for the afternoon session. But then it was a bit difficult to make comparisons as I was not feeling well physically. Nevertheless, we will still try out a few things before qualifying. But I think we are on the right track. »
