Noah Dettwiler started the second Misano Grand Prix on Friday very well, even if he didn’t have the lap time to confirm it at the end. He is also feeling a bit better health-wise.

The heavy rainfall of the last few days in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, gave rise to fears of the worst. However, the situation had improved by Friday morning, even though free practice for Moto3™ class took place on a damp Misano World Circuit. However, Noah Dettwiler was able to find a good rhythm on a rain-soaked track. As recently in Aragón, the 19-year-old Swiss rider coped well with the difficult conditions and finished the session in tenth place.

When Practice One began shortly after lunch time, the track had completely dried out. Dettwiler went into the session knowing that he had a good feeling, with lap times that were ten seconds faster practically from the start. Unfortunately, the rookie’s rhythm was affected by a minor mishap when he accidentally pressed a button that stopped the engine while leaving the pit lane in the group. As a result, Dettwiler had to settle for a 1’43.333 and finished in 24th place.
