On day one of practice after the three-week break, Noah Dettwiler was still struggling to find his rhythm.
For its traditional date on the last weekend in June, the Motorcycle World Championship travelled to the historic TT Circuit in Assen in the north of the Netherlands this week. There had been a somewhat longer break since the last race in Italy, which was good for teams and riders. Noah Dettwiler also arrived with fresh energy. However, the 19-year-old world championship rookie from Switzerland struggled to get into a good flow at the track with its unique layout in both practice sessions today.
Dettwiler did not finish higher than 25th in Practice 1, which is used together with Practice 2 on Saturday morning to determine the entry lists for Qualifying 1 and Qualifying 2.

«The feeling with the bike and the track is okay. Nevertheless, I am not completely satisfied, because overall it was not a positive start to the weekend. I am still struggling to get everything right in one lap. It works in one sector, but not in the next. I have to work on that and we will take a close look at the data so that we can take a step forward tomorrow in this respect.»
