FIM Moto3™ World Championship – Grand Prix de France

The 19-year-old Swiss rider had to settle with 18th place after what was his debut ride at the demanding stop-and-go track in Le Mans.
A cloudy sky over Le Mans made it for slightly cooler conditions on race day. Noah Dettwiler had set his sights high for the fifth race of the season in front of the fans of his French CIP Green Power team, as he wanted to be stronger in the early stages.
Unfortunately, he was unable to put this into practice. An early mistake cost him direct contact with the riders in front of him. But the KTM rider did not give up and did everything he could to close the gap again. However, he was sometimes not attentive enough. In the end, a penalty for leaving the track limits several times did not have much influence on his race.
In two weeks’ time, the team will line up at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya just outside the vibrant capital of Catalonia.

«To be honest, I’m a bit lost for words. I’m very disappointed because I made a lot of stupid mistakes. The first mistake caused me to lose contact with the group and when I tried to make up ground, more mistakes crept in. I went over the green too often and was penalized with a long lap.
It’s a shame how this weekend ended. Nevertheless, I will learn from it because it was definitely not a weekend to forget. I was able to set one or two highlights and there are also good points that we can take away and learn from. We’ll be going full throttle again in Barcelona.»
