FIM Moto3™ World Championship – Gran Premio d’Italia

For the 19-year-old Swiss Moto3™ World Championship rider, the end of the first third of the season in his rookie year is proving to be a bigger hurdle than expected. After an encouraging start to the weekend in Italy, Dettwiler was unable to continue this trend on Saturday.
The two season classics at the Gran Premi de Catalunya and the Gran Premio d’Italia this weekend at the Autodromo Internationale del Mugello being not under a good star for Noah Dettwiler. The picturesque track surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Tuscan countryside would be the perfect place to get back to work with a big smile on his face. This was temporarily the case, as Friday showed.
On day of practice of this year’s round six, however, Dettwiler missed somehow the feeling of the previous day. As a result, he was riding the bike too uptight, which was reflected in his lap times. Dettwiler remained above his personal best from Friday in both sessions of the day.
Swiss television will be showing the race live on SRF2 on Sunday. Alternatively, there is the app, “ServusTV On”, and the paid live stream on the official MotoGP website.

«To be honest, I even don’t know what happened today at the moment. One thing is for sure, I always tried to give it my all, but I couldn’t do it right. I didn’t have the same good feeling as yesterday either. We will now take a close look at the data and analyze everything. There’s not much to talk about, we just have to concentrate on the race and do our best.»
