FIM Moto3™ World Championship – Solidarity Grand Prix of Barcelona
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (Montmeló, Spain) | Wednesday, November 13th, 2024
After the devastating storm in the region of Valencia, the organizers of the FIM Moto3™ World Championship were keen to send a message of sympathy to those affected by sticking to the 20-race calendar. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, not far from the Catalan capital, has stepped in to replace the season’s finale.
The last race weekend of the year is all about solidarity with the victims of the floods in south-eastern Spain recently. Under the banner #RacingforValencia, the final races of the Moto3™, Moto2™ and MotoGP™ season will be held this weekend in Catalonia. The highlight will also be the title decision in the «Premier Class» MotoGP™. In addition to the sporting aspect, the focus will also be on a fundraising campaign for the Valencia region.
For Noah Dettwiler, this Sunday marks the end of a long 20-race rookie season that began in early March. The 19-year-old Swiss rider is looking forward to the season’s finale full of energy to end a difficult year of learning on a high note.
Swiss television SRF will broadcast the 2024 Moto3™ season finale live on Sunday morning as a stream on «srf.ch» (10:55-11:55 am) and also live on SRFzwei from around 11:15 am (the Moto3™ race starts at 11 am).
