FIM Moto3™ World Championship – Gran Premi de Catalunya
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (Montmeló, Spanien) | Wednesday, 22nd May, 2024
Over the years, the Gran Premi de Catalunya at the Montmeló circuit has acquired a status all its own. The beautiful Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is also a familiar and special place for Swiss Moto3™ World Championship rookie Noah Dettwiler.
The circuit in the north-east of the Catalan metropolis also hosts Moto3™ Junior World Championship once a year, where meanwhile 19-year-old Dettwiler gained his first experience at international level.
The proximity to Barcelona, the vibrant capital of Catalonia, gives this Grand Prix a very special flair. Every year, many visitors combine the race weekend with an extend stay and an extensive tour of the city.
Swiss television will be showing the race via livestream on SRF.ch on Sunday. The broadcast starts at 10:50 am. For viewers from Switzerland and Austria, all of the weekend’s sessions can be seen on the video and streaming platform “ServusTV On” with English commentary. In Germany, the broadcasts on Saturday and Sunday can be seen in a free live stream on ServusTV, while DF1 will also broadcast the Moto3 qualifying and the race on Sunday live. Alternatively, there is also the live stream on the official MotoGP website, where all sessions of all classes will be streamed, as at every Grand Prix. However, a paid video pass is required for this. Another option for Germany is a paid subscription to Sky Sport.
