Preview GP Thailand, Buriram | «Save The Date» for another challenge in Thailand

FIM Moto3™ World Championship – Grand Prix of Thailand
Chang International Circuit (Buriram, Thailand) | Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024

With the FIM Moto3™ World Championship’s visit to Buriram, which literally means “City of Happiness”, in the north-east of Thailand, this year’s long overseas tour is already nearly coming to an end although, a new adventure awaits Noah Dettwiler there.

The “triple-header” part of the season, consisting of the Grand Prix in Australia, Thailand and Malaysia with the long trip to Phillip Island and straight back to Southeast Asia, is not easy for everyone to endure. In the case of Noah Dettwiler, he also had to travel back to Europe after his serious crash in Japan earlier this month and then set off on the super-long journey to Australia from Switzerland with medical clearance, while many of his colleagues spent the break in between in Asia or Australia.

As far as his injuries are concerned, the last race weekend on Phillip Island went well for Dettwiler. Apart from slight discomfort in his wrist at the end of the weekend, there were no difficulties. Therefore, the 19-year-old Moto3 rookie is not worried about the upcoming task at the Chang International Circuit, which he is taking very seriously in order to improve in some areas.

Swiss television SRF will broadcast the Moto3™ race Sunday morning live as a stream on «srf.ch» (05:50-06:50 CEST).

«We have arrived safely in Buriram for the second-last race in oversea. This weekend will be another new challenge for me. I do not know the track. But I see this as another opportunity to improve my weak points. We will continue to work on finding solutions. I am very motivated and looking forward to getting back on my machine on Friday. »
