FIM Moto3™ World Championship – Grand Prix of Indonesia
Mandalika International Circuit (Lombok, Indonesia) | Wednesday, September 25th, 2024
Noah Dettwiler begins his first October overseas tour as a regular rider in FIM Moto3™ World Championship this weekend. However, the experience is not entirely new for him.
After the second Grand Prix in Misano last weekend, the entire paddock immediately moved over to Indonesia, where the second stop of the first triple header in the final stage of the championship gets underway this Friday at the Mandalika International Circuit on a neighbouring island of Bali with the round 15 of the season.
Although Noah Dettwiler is contesting his rookie season in Moto3™ series on world level this year, the 19-year-old has already gained some experience of the long journeys to the Grand Prix in Asia. Last year, the KTM rider stepped in at the World Championship’s round at the Mandalika Circuit in front of a breathtaking scenery with the Indian Ocean in the background with his current team CIP Green Power as a replacement for a regular rider who was injured at the time. The ambitious athlete from the canton of Solothurn was happy to take the opportunity to get used to his new surroundings at an early stage.
Swiss television SRF will broadcast the Moto3™ race early Sunday morning live as a stream on «srf.ch» (05:50am – 06:50am). Local time at Lombok is six hours ahead of Central European time.
