FIM Moto3™ World Championship – British Grand Prix
Silverstone Circuit (Silverstone, Great Britain) | Wednesday, 31st July, 2024
The return from the summer break marks the end of the first half of the current FIM Moto3™ World Championship with the season’s round ten.
Under the motto of the 75th anniversary celebrations, the tenth stop of the series at the traditional Silverstone Circuit is set to be a very special event this weekend. The World Championship’s visit to England was chosen because the first-ever Grand Prix winner was crowned at the famous street circuit on the Isle of Man back in 1949. Due to the one-hour time difference to Central Europe, there will be a slightly adjusted schedule on race day.
For Noah Dettwiler, however, Silverstone, one of the longest tracks on the current calendar, is an unfamiliar place.
Swiss television will be showing the race live on SRFinfo on Sunday. The broadcast begins at 12:05 CEST. Viewers from Switzerland and Austria will also be able to watch all of the weekend’s sessions on the video and streaming platform «ServusTV On», albeit with English commentary. In Germany, the broadcasts on Saturday and Sunday can be seen in a free live stream on ServusTV.com, while DF1 will also broadcast the Moto3 qualifying and the race on Sunday live. Alternatively, there is also the live stream on the official MotoGP™ website, where all sessions of all classes will be streamed, as at every Grand Prix. However, a paid video pass is required for this. Another option for Germany is a paid subscription to Sky Sport.
#55 Noah DETTWILER (CIP Green Power, KTM RC250GP):
«I really enjoyed the summer break; it was nice to spend time at the sea and switch off completely. I also had a good time then preparing for the second half of the season. But now I am really happy to be back in race mode soon, and at a track that is new to me. Silverstone is a very fast track, and I am really looking forward to getting to know it. I am also happy to resume work with my team.»
