On Saturday, Noah Dettwiler couldn’t get a better feel for his race bike and the challenging track in Le Mans.
20-year-old Noah Dettwiler’s second day of practice at the Grand Prix de France was a disappointing one from the morning to the end of his on-track action. A change to the settings of his KTM Moto3 did not have the effect he had hoped for, which meant that in qualifying he wasn’t able to even match his lap time from FP2 this morning. However, this was also partly due to the much warmer temperatures shortly after lunch time.
Dettwiler is looking forward to the sixth race of the season late on Sunday morning with subdued expectations. A lot of work awaits the ambitious racer from the canton of Solothurn from the eighth row of the grid.

«A very disappointing Saturday. There’s not really much more to say. We made a small change to the setup in the morning, which made me feel a bit more comfortable. But it was not good enough. Qualifying was very disappointing. We are currently analyzing why that was the case. In tomorrow’s race, I just have to give it my all to overcome today’s disappointment. »
